Reed heads up the Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) and brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his role. He enjoys collaborating with financial professionals on retirement-income planning strategies and small-business retirement plans. Prior to his current position, Reed served as assistant vice president of the Advanced Marketing department. 

 

Michael Bitton

Senior RSG Consultant, CFP®, CIMA®, CPWA®, CLU®, RICP®, MSFS®

Michael is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Consultant with more than 25 years of industry experience, including 20 in advanced planning. He has proficiency in many areas of financial planning, with a focus on retirement-income planning and individual tax planning. Prior to his role at Pacific Life, he headed up the Advanced Markets department at another large U.S.-based insurance company.

Michelle P. O'Haren

Senior RSG Consultant, JD, LLM, CPA, CFP®, RICP®

Michelle is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Consultant with more than 25 years of industry experience in the areas of financial planning, wealth management, and retirement planning. She began her career in the tax department of KPMG before running financial-planning groups for two major insurance companies. She also has held advanced planning and education roles at a broker/dealer and financial services firm.

James B. Schomburg

Senior RSG Consultant, JD, LLM

Jim is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Consultant with more than 25 years of industry experience. He has worked in several roles throughout his career. Prior to his current position, he worked as an advanced marketing attorney for other insurance and wealth-management firms. He began his financial services career in the private practice of law, focusing on estate planning and administration as well as family and real estate law.

 

Susan Wood

Senior RSG Consultant, JD, CFP®, RICP®, CRC®

Susan is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Consultant with more than 30 years of industry experience, including retirement planning and wealth management. Before working at Pacific Life, she held positions with a private planning firm, trust company, broker/dealer firms, and financial services companies. Susan enjoys providing educational programs to clients as well as financial and legal professionals.

Caroline is the Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Manager leading the home-office-based team. She brings more than 10 years of industry experience to her role, including experience in tax planning with insurance products. She enjoys providing retirement income-planning education—including practical solutions for business, estate, tax, and retirement-planning concerns—to financial professionals and their clients. Caroline began her career in the private practice of law, focusing on business and estate planning.

Steve Chmelka

Senior RSG Consultant, CRC®

Steve is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Consultant. His career within the industry spans more than three decades and includes experience in financial planning and wealth management. He offers detailed knowledge of both small-business retirement plans and retirement income-planning strategies.

 

Jason Fajardo

RSG Design Representative, MBA

Jason is a Senior Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) Design Representative with more than 15 years of industry experience, including annuity and mutual fund operations.
