Medicare Enrollment Options
Review the following Medicare enrollment periods to find the right window for your clients' needs.
| Enrollment Periods | Enrollment Window |

| Initial Enrollment | Begins three months before a person's 65th birthday and ends three months after. |
| Annual Enrollment | Runs from October 15 through December 7 |
| General Enrollment (for those who missed initial enrollment) | January 1–March 31 |
| Special Enrollment | A temporary window assigned on a case-by-case basis for life events such as moving, losing employer coverage, or qualifying for extra financial help |
